Although the Astros appear to be swiftly sinking in a tough National League Central division, theres still a Roy of hope.

The Wizard takes the mound for Houston tonight at 8:40 p.m. as the 51-57 Astros aim to begin things on the right foot against the 55-53 Diamondbacks.

This will be Roy Oswalts 22nd start of the season, where he owns an incredible 3.23 ERA in 145.0 innings pitched with an 8-7 record, as he faces counterpart Miguel Batista (9-5, 4.71).

Roy hasnt lost to Arizona since donning a MLB Astros uniform, holding a 5-0 record against the Diamondbacks with a 0.95 ERA in five career starts.

Defensively, our Astros own the NL lead and are tied for third in MLB this season in double plays with 118.

With the Wizard taking the mound tonight, the Rocket scheduled to launch tomorrow night, and a re-emerging pitcher perfect Pettitte set to start Sunday afternoon, now is the time for Houston to begin a win streak.

We always tend to love the second half of the season, so lets break out the bats and break out the smiles and win some ball games.

All the action begins tonight at 8:40 p.m. on FSN Houston.
