By Denton Ramsey / Staff Writer

The Crane Relays proved to be a tough meet for the Lady Bucks track team last weekend.

Although the athletes competed well, the competition was extreme. Many Lady Bucks turned in PR’s (personal records) at the meet.

Leading the pack was Adeline Fox who placed 4th in both the 100m dash (13.44) and the 300m hurdles (51.35), as well as placing 5th in the long jump (14’8?”).

Emily Hendryx set two new PR’s while placing 4th & 5th in the 1600 (6:15.78) & 3200m (13:42.41) runs, respectively.

Wren Keyes followed suit, placing 5th & 6th in the 1600 (6:27.90) & 3200m (13:46.22) runs.

Kim Kenyon placed 5th in the 400m run (1:06.76) knocking 2 seconds off her previous PR for a new one.

Dot Quiroz placed 6th in pole vault (8′). Quiroz, along with Chanci Saenz, Meagan Gonzales, and Samantha Polanco placed 6th in the 800m relay (2:02.76).

The track teams will compete in district action in Crane beginning this afternoon.
