Errors and unearned runs were once again the downfall for the Alpine Bucks baseball team on Tuesday evening against Crane as they took a 14-4 loss.

Chris Navarrette pitched 5 1/2 innings before duties were turned over to the bullpen.

“Chris pitched pretty good baseball for five innings,” Bucks Head Coach Orlando Leyva said. “Then we started having errors and giving up unearned runs as Crane put up nine runs in the last two innings.”

The Bucks return to action tomorrow in a road match-up against Presidio beginning at 7 p.m.
